She starred in more than 40 films, including classics such as Pillow Talk, Calamity Jane, and That Touch of Mink. Her warm personality and vocal talent made her one of America’s favorite entertainers.
Day also became a respected animal rights advocate later in life, extending her influence beyond the screen.
Her timeless charm and lasting impact earn her a place in the Ohio Movie and TV Hall of Fame.
